Taking Back the Work Place

Alright already! Enough is enough; according to Sunday’s New York Times “532,250 jobs are still being lost each week.” If that weren’t bad enough just about every day I see some article on older workers and how tough it is to find a job. I guess my first problem is my refusal to see myself as an older worker. I do not feel old, I do not look all that old, and I certainly do not act old. OK so I am not a hip hop dancer but I never could disco either. We are the Boomer generation for crying out loud! When we decide to work together and change the world we are a force to be reckoned with. When did we decide to give up control? How did we let a few bad greedy apples spoil it for the rest of us?

I am not going to read one more negative article. If I have to live in a yurt in Bolivia I am going to take some time and have fun! If you do not want to hire me, fine. I just may run for office and use my one term to tilt a few windmills.
