The Third Time is a Charm

Remember Goldilocks and the three bears or, as in my blog, buyers? Well now I have buyers who find my house to be just right. The third time really is a charm!

This is my opportunity to move on and have new adventures. Of course I am moving on with enough stuff for a family of five but I don’t want to think about that part yet.

I was raised in a culture of military brats. My friends moved from house to house like many people move from diet to diet. Every move meant leaving a home and friends. Every move resulted in new friends, the fun of making a new home, and new places to explore.

This does not mean I am not going to get all sentimental when it comes time to say goodbye to my house. I will cry there is no doubt about it. My very first video blog was about getting my house ready to sell. I wondered at that time if I could remain upbeat and the answer is yes. I won’t lie; the stress from time to time is overwhelming. The renewed friendships and new friends I have already made are making me wonder why I didn’t take this journey sooner.

Hi Darby. Glad to hear you’re getting interest in your home. Liz tells me you are back in Georgia, is that right? I hope everything is working out for you.

I’m taking classes at U of Phoenix, working on my MBA. Just about everything I read and write about in class makes me think about my time at KATU and how Fisher runs things. I have a much better idea and appreciation for the conflicting forces which shaped your everyday work experience. It’s a very challenging course and it’s really helping to stimulate my mind; which has been dormant for far too long.

Anyway, I just wanted to say hi and good luck to you.
